Hi everyone, brand new here, so I hope I'm doing everyting correctly!
Ok, Since last week, I appear to have multiple IEXPLORE.exe processes running (sometimes upto 13 going at once, without me even using IE) and I just cannot get rid of them.
They are draining my system, preventing me from opening internet explorer,links within sites, stalling websites/programs, and now when I try and shut the comp down it comes up with as Sysfader popup which says end now, and it just doesn't!?!
I have totally re-installed windows xp, along with all my aol internet software but the problem doesn't seem to have gone away!?! if anything, it's gotten worse! :( How can that be?
I've scanned using Adaware, Spybot, trojan hunter, a-squared etc etc with no joy atall, (in safe mode aswell) but this problem persists, and I need to beat the bugger somehow!!
Anyway, I'll enclose an HJT log in the hope someone out there can help me out.
Please help! as I'm going out of my mind with this!
