Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have the same problem as phil j, but I couldn't post in his topic for some reason...anywho, I get this error message a few minutes on start up, whether I connect to the internet or not. A bit later the screen reverts to an old version of windows for a brief moment, then the internet does not work, as well as all sound devices, and my printer wont work at all either (lexmark 7300 series). I've used antivirus programs and ad-aware and some registry fix programs.

I found a weird method that allows me to still go online and use sound, I quicky load the internet and all sound devices I want to use, then d/c and click "send error" report. I then can connect to the internet again without further problems....but my printer still doesnt work at all. Help please?

also, I looked up nvappfilter.dll on google, not sure if it's needed to connect to the internet or if it's completely useless after reading some other forums.
