Thanks to Spybot R&D team for all your hard work.
Here is a bug report - sort of - from v1.5 with a hope to be a help to your efforts.
During an attempt to clean up some installation registry record, following error message began to show up.
I was able to remove some values(about 10 or so) before this error windows began to pop up.
It will not go away if ok or X is clicked and will stay on top over any other apps I have open at that time.
Only way I could close them was by killing the Spybot process from task manager.
I have taken a screen shot and attached here as well.
