windows messenger

I am attempting to disable Windows Messenger but I must have done something out of sequence. I keep getting a pop-up in the lower right of my screen. I checked under tools and found this entry dozens if not hundreds of times
9/29/2007 3:21:11 AM Denied value "MSMSGS" (new data: "") deleted in System Startup user entry!
I unchecked the program in the system startup but it keeps coming back.

That probably happened if you checkmarked 'Remember this decision' on the teatimer pop-up for that start-up entry.

Which version of Spybot do you have?Does the main Teatimer window look okay after it pops up,or are some of the buttons covered over?
