Spybot S&D v1.5 - Batch mode run never completes and consums virtual memory

The latest version of Spybot S&D 1.5 has problems in batch mode. With a job in Scheduled Tasks, if I select "Run", it starts running, and never finishes. It starts consuming virtual memory and never seems to release it. It uses between 50 and 99% of the CPU.

I've reproduces this on several PC's all running Windows XP SP2 and all were not infected at the time.

I'm seeing where on some PC's the Spybot Scheduled Task is actually finishing, several hours later. Maybe the longer time is partially due to now scanning for what, over 80,000 items??? However, the amount of virtual memory seems to grow and grow. Maybe it's just not releasing it's virtual memory properly, and that might be adding to the very long scan time.
