Proxy Usage set where?

I am trying to get SpyBot to install on a number of machines using a combination of bat files and windows scripting routines, I have worked out where SpyBot stores the actual IP address for the registry setting for the proxy required, however I cant seem to find where SpyBot stores the option to actually use a proxy (the tick box).

Does anyone know?

Hello,

Please run Spybot - Search & Destory in "Advanced Mode" and go to "Settings" --> "Settings".
Scrolling down you will find the subsection "Web update". Here you will find the checkbox with "Use the proxy to connect to update server".

Hi Sandra,
Sorry but I think you mis-read Dave.

He and I both need to know where Spybot actually stores the data on disk so we can automate the setting of the proxy information.

Where I work has just changed the password for the system account that I was using to automate Spybot and its updates (command line settings in TaskScheduler). As a result now many machines cannot update.

I just simply refuse to VNC to all of them individually and use the GUI to reset the proxy details, and no re-imaging them is not an option.

Cant find the settings in the Registry (so far) or in any INI files, so you'll just have to tell us I'm afraid!
