Hello! I'm a new member and this is my first post. I tried searching the forum prior to the post but I dont know what I'm looking at or for.........

I ran S&D 1.5 3 days ago and cleaned a lot of stuff off my PC. However, for the past 3 day since the initial 'fix' I get the same 4/5 cookie trackers when I run S&D 1.5.

Can you please help me permanently remove them.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Peace,

SD

It may not a question of how to "... permanently remove them", but rather a question of how to prevent them from returning.

There are several ways to prevent the storing of those tracking cookies:
Immunize using Spybot's immunization facility. Go into Spybot > Immunize (left pane) > click the Immunize button (at the top of the right pane).
Activate Spybot's Resident "SDHelper" faculity. Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident. Under the heading "Resident protection status" you will see: Resident "SDHelper" (Internet Explorer bad download blocker) active.
Check that that item and Spybot will install a Browser Helper Object (BHO) so that Windows Internet Explorer will block those tracking cookies.
There is another way to prevent the downloading of Tracking Cookies in Internet Explorer (even those that may not be blocked by the methods above) as well as the storing of Tracking Cookies in other WEB browsers besides Internet Explorer. Those methods are covered in the following article:
Why do other anti-spyware applications detect so many more tracking cookies?
