Hello
I followed the instructions found in the forum, to set a schedule scan (let's say every night at 8 pm).

The problem is that schedule never starts.
While I test it I am logged in.

Please advise.
Ferrux :-)

... I followed the instructions found in the forum, to set a schedule scan ...
What instructions did you follow? For example:
Did you add the scheduled task from a user account with a password if required by the Windows OS you are running?
What program does "Run" statement of the scheduled task point to?
What command line parameters did you use in the "Run" statement of the scheduled task?
Etc.

Hello,
yup I inserted the password and user account required by OS.

what do you mean for this ?
What program does "Run" statement of the
scheduled task point to?

I used the default parameters provided, I did not change them.
What command line parameters did you use in
the "Run" statement of the scheduled task?

Thank you

Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Settings > Scheduler > click the Edit button. You should now be in the Spybot- Search and Destroy – Scheduled Task dialog. In the Task tab look at the "Run:" line of the dialog, what does it say?

You can add/change the "command line parameters" the end of the "Run:" line. For additional information on scheduling parameters that can be used, see the following:
Are there any command line parameters?

Are you running an Italian (Italiano) version of Windows and is the actual SpybotSD.exe program stored in the following directory?
C:\Programmi\Spybot - Search & Destroy
Rather than the following English (Inglese) directory?
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

Hello,
I am running the italian version of Windows XP SP2, while I installed SD, when prompted I changed the defualt installation folder with that one "c:\programmi....."

After installed SD then I choose the italian interface, but the original installed software was the english one from the official download page of SD site.

Hope this help.
regards.

ferrux:

The only thing that I can suggest is to schedule some other job using Windows Scheduled Tasks to see if that facility is working properly.
