Hi,
Firstly im sorry if this has already been discussed in a different thread. I tried reading some of the other threads but couldn't really understand the advice given in them (sorry im really dumb with this kind of stuff).
Basically I did a Spybot scan and the normal cookies came up but also the 'Microsoft.Windows.IEFirewallBypass' which ive not seen before. Last week when I did my scan Spybot came up with a spyware threat (sorry, I can't remember the name of it) which I removed straight away. The only outcome from that, that I have noticed, is that my desktop background list (in Display Properties) is only showing BMP files. Even if I browse my pictures and click OK on a JPEG it won't apply it. The only way I can apply it is to right click on a JPEG image and 'Set as background'.
I read in another thread that the 'Microsoft.Windows.IEFirewallBypass' might have something to do with my McAffe firewall and Windows firewall. I have checked both and they are both on. I have not noticed my PC running badly or anything so should I remove the 'Microsoft.Windows.IEFirewallBypass' or not?
Hope someone can help,
Ian
Once again im sorry if this is going over old ground or ive posted this in the wrong place.
