Spybot S&D 1.3 or 1.4?

Hi,

I have Spybot S&D 1.3 on a WinMe computer and see no direct upgrade path to version 1.4, which I can see on the download page. When I use the web update I just get new detections. Furthermore, I can not find any release notes for version 1.4 that tell me what might change or any news or discussion of the merits of 1.4 versus 1.3.

Can anyone point me to the information I'm missing, or tell me what the status of version 1.4 is?

Hello,

In the past it was not possible to upgrade to a new Spybot version via update.
But we have integrated this function in the new version Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4 now.
So whenever there is a new version you will get a notification when you try to update.

For now:
First, please uninstall the old version according to this link:

Now, you can download the new version here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html
Don't forget to update afterwards!
