Clue to Immunization Freezing

Love Spybot S&D, used it for years. Recently, immunization freezes, running IE7 so I'm good there, does it on my friends computer now too. Here is a clue for you guys: if I go into Safemode, it will immunize everytime, but what a hassle. When are you going to fix this and send an updated patch????

Do you have McAfee SystemGuard installed? In my case this was the culprit. Just (temporarily) disable its function via the Security Center and S&D immediately unfreezes
