I am showing that is a free download even though I have never heard of it? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=007+spy+software+&btnG=Google+Search
Did someone download it on purpose? Did you try to remove it in Add Remove programs. Read and follow the directions and I will take a look.
Thanks

hello pskelly and thank you for the fast response time. i have also googled it and went through numerous pages finding out exactly what it was. turns out its a keylogger that can be installed on a computer then sends all of your computer activity to a specified e-mail account. Im positive that it was put on my computer intentionally since i scanned my upstairs computer and it also turned out to have 007 spy software. anyway my guess is that the person who put it on there simply uninstalled it and it came back on reboot since it is not password protected. to answer your other question it did not show in the add/remove prgrams list.

This has me slightly confused, you are saying this is your computer but someone in the house you live in installed a program you do not want on the computer?
You understand this is a malware removal forum that is very busy and we are not here to resolve issues of a personal nature. I am not really sure what you want me to do:scratch:

spybot detected 007 spy software at first so i removed what it found and uninstalled the software via the uninstaller built into the program but after a reboot it reinstalls itself and there seems to be no way to rid my computer of this program

Thanks for that feedback, if you wish to pursue this issue to see what we can do then:
1) Make sure your Spybot is completely up to date and immunized, if it wtill locates this item and will not remove it, it may be new malware. Post here for the Spybot experts who may need to add it to definitions.
http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=4 <<< Spybot forum
http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=16 <<< false positives
2) Post a Kaspersky scan results and a HJT log as described in the "Before you Post" instructions.
Thanks
