restart spybot after detection update?

Hi,

do I need to restart spybot after downloading the latest updates?

The about info always shows the old update date after downloading the updates, once I restart the program the update date is current.

Yes. Please make a fresh start after installing the updates.
Please also immunize new as new detections might be added.

The updater sends a signal to the main application though to tell it that it has been updated, so if the old date is still displayed, that's something we have to fix!

The updater should also tell you if a restart of the application or a new immunization is required, just in case :)
