Okay new to these forums and Ill say thanks in advance. I contracted spywarestriker last night. It got in through a s/w required to run in WMP and yes it was inappropriate material I was trying to view so shame on me. I have symantec corp edition running and it was up to date so it picked it up immediately, but yet I am still infected. I went through their process of removal which is short and sweet and it really didnt get rid of everything. I ran through your process under your sticky and I am going to post the logs here. I am still getting a dll will not load message for crystalys media when I start up and the last step of your process using the panda activescan found other crap so here goes. I hope I did this right. BTW my last hijack this scan was not done in safe mode as I suspect this is how you want it to be. Also in safe mode I could not update spybot so I am sure it is behind the times with updates so possibly ill have to do all this again...UGH . Please advise if it looks like I did everything correctly or not please. Thanks again.
