removable drive D disappeared help!!!!

As I was trying to safely eject a cd from my cd rom, I clicked on the icon of safe eject and by mistake chose the option to make it unavailable, now the cd rom cannot be opened any more and drive D has dissapeared from my computer, only C: appears there. I tried to find it in the driver manager but I cannot. What shall I do.
Please, I am desperately asking for help!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:
