Up until now, I've configured my computers to update Spybot Search and Destroy to update at startup. I did it by placing a shortcut under Startup in the all users' Start Menu. The command line on the shortcut is this:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /taskbarhide /autoupdate /autoimmunize /autoclose
As you can see, this should theoretically run Spybot silently, update everything, immunize the computer, and then exit. These options seem to work in Spybot 1.5, EXCEPT that when there IS an update, I get this dialog:
[Information ]
(i)
Please re-apply immunization after this updae.
It is recommended that you do a full scan after this update.
[OK]
Isn't the whole point of running Spybot using the /taskbarhide to hide the app from the user. And besides, it DOES immunize the computer in the same line. I didn't get these prompts in 1.4 when I use /taskbarhide.
Isn't there some way to prevent this dialog from being displayed? ¬¬
Thanks
