My computer won't load certain websites

For a while now, my laptop refuses to run websites such as Photobucket, Facebook, online game sites and any other sites. I am able to get to the main page, but as soon as I actually try logging in, nothing happens. The loading bar goes to around 90% and then nothing is displayed. If I hit the refresh button multiple times I sometimes get the page but in general after a bit I get a loading error. I have updated Spybot and Ad-Aware, ran it, came up with nothing. I also have macafee but i cant recieve updates for I am supposedly already registerd on this laptop and everytime i try to log in again it keeps saying that this laptop is already registered and I to login...so basically i'm stuck in a circle.
Can someone plz help with both of these issues.

Are you on AOL, also have you checked your browser settings?
