I got the Fake msn8 beta...

hello all, Hoping to find help to remove this pesky malware.
I run Spybot S&D weekly and this clinger just won't go away.
system is XP
Mozilla browser
I read through the post that tashi left and went through the various steps as well.
To date I have run adware se, AVG, SB S&D, attempted to use Kespersky but won't run, S&D twice in safe mode and still have that and two others. SB S&D reports that there are 2 entries for Fakemsn8beta.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In the stickied procedure for this forum, you will see we ask for the the Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 log to be copy/pasted into one's topic. "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)


If you cannot run the Spybot or Anti Virus scan at all, please go ahead and post the HJT log along with a note regarding scan/s failure.

Please start another topic and post the HJT log, then I will close this one as helpers look for zero response.
