Thanks for returning your information, follow these instructions in the posted order.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Hi. Have done everything listed, except... I cannot get into Spyware Doctor to uncheck "Activate Onguard" - it is not listed in my control panel's program list anymore, and I tried to access it through the entire file name, which showed up the file listed on HJT, but when I click on it to open it (either through left or right click/open) it will not open. Not sure what's happening there.
Thanks for your persistence (and patience with computer novice!)

Thanks for the feedback, I have never used Spyware Doctor so you might want to look in the program "help", look for a tutorial within the program or contact their tech support if you need more information about the program.

I must have missed these, the are not malware, just clutter. Use HJT to remove them if you wish. The balance of the HJT log looks fine:bigthumb:

Let's look at a last Kaspersky to be sure we have not mised anything. I know we have a couple infected System Resatore files, so expect a few items. Please use these settings.

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Then post it here. Let me know how the computer is running when you post.

Thanks...Phil
