Please Help with Smitfraud-C.

Hello, I seem to be infected by Smitfraud-C. and Zlob. I've downloaded and I've ran Spybot S&D 1.5 in safe mode, it found 1)Smitfraud-C. 2)Zlob.Downloader.vcd and 3)Smitraud-C.MSVPS. I had Spybot fix these, and the computer is still infected. I tried to download Kaspersky, without success.

Search:
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

Post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log, please tell me how the computer is running now.

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback. Looks like a couple of new bad files not in the fix, I have posted them to have them added for the next folks.

1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

3) TeaTimer will block changes we must make, use these instruction to turn it off until we are done.

4) We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

6) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.

Hi I did steps 1 thru 5, when attempting to do step 6, I found the dll files, but when I tried to delete them, got following message in a dialog box: "Could not delete xxx. Access denied" Make sure disk is not write protected and that the file is not currently in use", where "xxxx" was either the rmvgor.dll file or the sapnet.dll file. After 4 or 5 attempts with a reboot somewhere in between I could delete rmvgor.dll but I still can't delete sapnet.dll. Have included a HJT log from after I could delete rmvgor.dll:

Keep in mind this is your computer, if a file is bad you need to delete it no matter what. Boot to safe mode and do it there, whatever, don't take no for an answer!

Start Hijackthis
Click on the Config button
Click on the Misc Tools button
Click on the button labeled Delete a file on reboot...
A new window will open asking you to select the file that you would like to delete on reboot. Navigate to the file: C:\WINDOWS\sapnet.dll and click on it once, and then click on the Open button.
You will now be asked if you would like to reboot your computer to delete the file. Click on the Yes button if you would like to reboot now.

If that takes care of the file, the HJT log will be clean. Give Kaspersky another try with these instructions.

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

I ended up being able to delete the sapnet.dll file in safe mode, thanks for the advice :). The new HJT log is below. Unfortunately I get the same problem trying to download Kaspersky as before (see first post). There are no more constant dialog boxes saying security alert, no browser windows automatically appearing without my prompting, screensaver is back to normal, the shortcuts on the desktop that were apparently part of this malware invasion are still there, but the icons have changed to that general windows icon that doesn't indicate any affiliation to a particular program.
