Does anyone know of a way to add a process to the black list? I read the FAQ and it tells you how to remove programs from the black list, but I have no idea how to get something on it. Thanks in advance...

Hello,

The items get on the blacklist when you deny an entry and press remember this decision.
You can't add items to the blacklist manually.

So if I hit remember decision on a malicious program by accident (that dialogue box always looks messed up for me somehow) there is no way to go back and black list it later? Maybe I just need to reinstall the program all together?

Hello,

For sure you can reverse that entry as you have already stated above.

Please right-click the Resident icon in the system tray "Spybot S&D resident" and select "Settings". There you will find 4 lists for remembered decisions (allowed/denied processes and registry changes). In order to remove an entry just click on the cross next to it. TeaTimer will then "forget" this decision and you will be asked again the next time.

Could it be that you run an old verison of Spybot (1.4) ?
The garbled dialog box was a little bug in version 1.4:

We have already been able to locate and fix it.

Please download our current version Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.
That should fix it.
You will find links to several download locations for this new version on our web site:

Please search for new updates after installing Spybot-S&D 1.5.

Will there be a manual way to add proccess'/programs to TeaTimes' blacklist aoearing in future releases?

Not the way you imagine it probably ;)

Having ways to add something to the blacklists would raise the wish to have the same for the whitelists, which would invite malware to use that method.

Processes and registry entries pointing to files in some way can be "blacklisted" through another method though: you can add your own custom .sbi file to the Includes\ folder and add some lines to detect exactly those files/associated entries you wish to blacklist. Not an easy way, but a powerful one ;)

here's how PepiMK and GT500 do it...

well, sometimes it is a trial and error thing but it really works.
