I'm sorry if this has already been addressed but I did a search and couldn't find anything on it.
When I do a Google search and click on the link that I need I get re-directed to another website that has absolutely nothing to do with what I was looking for. Then, I go back to Google and click on it again and this time it goes where I want.
It happens with all searches. First it goes where I don't want then it goes where I do want it. This is both when I click on the link directly or open in new window.
I looked in the task manager but I don't know what processes should or should not be running. I've also cleared my cookies, history, etc.
I have run NAV, Ad-Aware, and Spybot (the Spybot scan took over 6 hours) and could find nothing.
I am running a Dell Inspiron 1150, Intel Celeron 2.6ghz with 512mb RAM, MS XP SP2.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,
Bob
