When I try to start S$D it hits the floppy and then nothing happens, I just installed it and can't get it to open.

SBSD version 1.5.1 is work in progress at the moment.
If you have installed the version 1.5.1 from the primary download-page, then try this beta:
http://www.safer-networking.org/files/beta/spybotsd15he-beta2.exe
Maybe, that this is enough to solve your problems, LG :)
