Select 1 and hit Enter to create a report of the infected files. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

Post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log. Add any comments you think will help.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

How is the computer running now? Let's have Kaspersky look for anything hiding:

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

A couple other items to note. After I was infected and before I found this forum I ran Spy Bot Search and Destroy, along with the SpyHunter fixes. After I could not get IE to open without error. I switched over to my Administrator account and was able to run IE and find this forum. A few items to mention... 1) I've run all the requested diagnostics from that Administrator account and 2) I am able to run IE from my other account without error now and 3) I do not get the pop-up telling me that I have been infected with ZLob anymore from IE anymore and my Google searches are not being hi-jacked.

Machine seems to be better. My google searches aren't getting hi-jacked and IE is not popping a box telling me I have been affected by Trojan ZLob. Each task requested is complete including updating the JRE. Thanks again for all the assistance.

It very hard for me to view, I am seeing Temp files and Temporary Internet File, plus a load off stored cookies I never see in these scans, and I have looked at a lot of them. Please make sure you are using only these settings:

NAV quarantine files have been deleted. I have re-run Kaspersky paying close attention to the settings. The two scan options are selected by default and I selected Standard and ran for My Computer. I hope the report files are easier to read.

I didn't necessarily know that they were being stored or know what myself or my wife was doing to store them but I have removed them.

I performed all the steps requested and I appreciate the following literature and will be sure to read.

Is there any further action that I should take or do we consider this case closed?

Thanks, if you are having no malware problems, you are good to go. It hard to clean all temp/tif files and cookies, ATF-Cleaner gets many, you can also use Clean Manger which is part of your Operating System:
