I have two laptops. One's an old IBM A31 Thinkpad, 512M; the other's an HP, 1G. Both run XP/SP2.
The HP has Comodo, the IBM does not.
I've always and faithfully run Spybot, carefully up-to-date!:bigthumb:
About a month ago, I upgraded both laptops to Spybot 1.5. I noticed a painful loss of performance, on program load time, definition update speed, screen refresh after update exit, scan time, and exit after scan completion!
This slow-down happened on both laptops, so I am reasonably sure Comodo is not involved. Has Spybot become that much more complex?
Or is it, perhaps and more likely, something that I may have neglected?
