I have ran spybot as well as 3 other programs ( Ad-aware, AVG anti-spyware, and Super anti-spyware ). Spybot continues to find issues when the computer is rebooted and then spybot ran again. My Control Panel is missing but will show up after virus scan fixes things, only to disappear again on reboot. I also can not access certain items as I get a message stating no admin privileges. A pop up also shows that states, "Warning! Potential spyware operation!". I do not answer yet but keep ignoring this pop up as I assume it has to do with the viruses... The following is the Hijack This script. I also can not access the internet now and can not get the Kaspersky script. Thankyou for looking.

Can't say why you have no internet connection, we will remove the malware and see what happens. You have some nasty infections. Do not run and post the Kasperskly scan until I request it.

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool". It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Here is the rapport.txt file. While it was running, the message, "Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator" kept appearing.
I also can access the internet now from the infected computer although I have it disconnected at the moment and am retrieving the required files off the net through another computer. I am running these files in safemode on the infected computer. Is that fine or should I not be in safe mode? Thank you for your assitance!

Thanks for returning your information, I am not surprised about the messages you are getting, you were very infected. No need to run in safe mode unless I post it to be run that way, but It does not hurt. It is possible that stuff would not be running and thus would not appear in the Search scan which appears to have happened. The Clean scan is done in safe mode, let's hope it picks up all of the junk, we shall see.

Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt
Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.
Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.
Post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log.

When running smitfraud after answering "Y" to clean the registry, the following pop up keeps appearing - " Registry editing has been disabled by administrator". I clear it, then smitfraud gives the message, "System can not find file". These process repeats about a dozen times then goes back to the screen asking if I want to clean the registry.

You're infected, one or more of the identified infections steal information. If this system is used for online banking or has credit card information on it, all passwords should be changed immediately by using a different computer (not the infected one!) to make the changes. Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop
http://downloads.andymanchesta.com/RemovalTools/SDFix.exe
Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)
Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
Choose your usual account.
Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log

I installed and ran the sdfix script and while it states, "Checking Running Processes and Services" a pop up shows "An installable virtual device driver failed DII initialization."
I ignore the pop ups and after a few times the script will state, "This process may take 10 minutes, please be patient." In a matter of a couple minutes, my screen will go blank with the exception of "safe mode" in each of the four corners. Nothing will respond. I have waited for much more than 10 minutes and assume it is freezing up. I have repeated this process 3 times.
I don't use this computer for online banking so I feel I'm pretty safe in that aspect. Once it started acting up I pulled the plug on the internet connection also.

Thanks for the feedback, we can try the cleanup manually, but SDFix will do a better job for you. If you are not used to working in safe mode (diagnostic mode) have a look at this tutorial:

Follow those instructions to get in "safe mode" Print the instructions for SDFix, since you can't see them when in safe mode.
When you get there, then things will look a little strange, locate
Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the cleanup process.Then continue with the instructions.

I do not have a Runthis.bat, only a Runthis.cmd after SDfix is extracted. When I execute Runthis.cmd I get a pop up window titled "16 Bit MSDOS Subsystem" Inside the pop up is:
"SD FIX
C:\Proga~1\Symantic\S32EVNT1.D11. An installable virtual device drive failed D11 initialization". It then gives the option to Close or Ignore.
RunThis.cmd is running in the background but then goes to a blank screen with the computer not responding. I can find no Report.txt that it produced. I have attached another HiJackThis log.

Thanks for the feedback, understand this is a tool we use all of the time, it is much more than likely you have problems with your computer other than malware.
1) How to make files and folders visible:
Click Start > Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.
2) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.
3) AVG Anti-Spyware: Deactivate the Resident Shield
- Before proceeding, deactivate the "Resident Shield" as this may prevent changes to the registry.
- To do this, click "Change State" to the right of the Resident Shield option in the main window.
- You will clearly see the status change to Inactive if you have done this correctly.
4) We need to disable your Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
Open Windows Defender, Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.
5) Disable the Service
Click Start > Run and type services.msc
Scroll down to ZZZsvc_lich and right click on it.
Click Properties and under Service Status click Stop, then under Startup Type change it to Disabled.
6) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.

Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Restart and post a new HJT log.

I do want you to check to make sure that C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolvs.exe is gone. When you run into a situation like that with a file you know is bad, boot to safe mode and delete it there. You also have a tool in HJT that can be used, just be sure you want the file gone.

Was able to delete spoolsvs.exe in safe mode.
Regarding AVG Anti-Software - Yes, this along with 2 other anti-virus software program I was using to clean my computer before I contacted this site. I can not remove it as I still don't have the Control Panel and there is no uninstal option in the file folder.
Computer is no longer having popups regarding syware, etc. as before. I am getting "The system has recovered from a serious error" message though frequently and the following screen has occurred on a few occasions when booting computer in normal mode:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears
again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver
or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for and BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced startup
options, and then select safe mode.

Computer is definately running back to the speed it was before infection with the exception of it seems to be missing some required files for running normally. I suspect that I either deleted these with the anti-virus software before I contacted you or the viruses "ate" them?? And as I stated previously, I still don't have my Control Panel options. It had appeared occasionally when I ran the virus scan software only to disappear again on reboot.
I will run Kaspersky in a few hours when I get home to my internet connection and post the log here next.

WooHoo!! I have a control panel again!
But, I attempt to access the internet and internet explorer pages pop up with google as the home page even though that is not a setting on my internet explorere. It just freezes on that page and will not allow me to access the pages for an online system scan.
I read through quite a few of those pages and it looks like I have some corrupted drivers. The recommendation it seems is to just reinstall in order to make sure that all drivers are correct and in the right places. I have saved all of the information I needed and will do a recovery. Once I get on the internet after the recovery, I'll run Kaspesky and Pitstop with links or copies of the results for you to analyze and see if it is normal.

I'm sure you understand how to click through the links to see the advice they have to offer. I do not suggest you purchase anything.
No serious problems, three minor issues.
Memory: Of course more memory would be a good thing, I have 1.25GB's myself. Concerned about this:
There is a large discrepancy between the memory reported by the BIOS versus Windows.
I would investigate that issue if I were you.
Defragment files: as the hard drive gets old, your need to defrafment more often, just because the XP defrag tool says it is not needed, if your use is routine, set a routine schedule and defrag once a month or so.
Adjust Browser Cache Size: Generally, cache sizes above 100 megabytes waste disk space and can actually cause slower performance. Cache sizes below 10 megabytes may not provide enough temporary storage for the browser, and can cause low performance because of increased network activity.
Read it all to benefit, these are just a few areas I thought deserved mention.
