no clue!

I have searched post and cannot find this one! Have found some similiar but not the same.....Here is what I have seen:

I can use the computer but only when I am quick enough to start a program before the desktop goes blank...if it starts it runs, but slowly...... the desktop flashes off and on computer shows processes almost 80% cpu usage( intermittently) but no applications running...from reading posts I have run combo fix and look2 me.....I still have the same problem........ and combo fix after running and restarting pc never closes. it tell me where the log file is but that's it (at least after 1 hour.....am i not waiting long enough)...I have to shut the pc down manually.... I have had no problems up till now and have only been to one site today.......is this something new or have you seen this before..I went to gamecopyworld.com to download a program to backup my pc game discs and accepted a popup to continue..wow then the porn popups came....I downloaded the program but did not open it.....problem started immediately....can you help? this is my main pc and much info there to lose......my mistake but if you can be of assistance It would be apreciated...$$
P.S...I closed the internet con and opened it only for l2m software the closed again...still offline

Just wanted to follow up on this......Downloaded and ran the Combo Fix , which I had read in another thread here....Would not finish.......Then tried booting in safe mode and no display at all........Went to msconfig and started in diagnostic mode. Pc booted and display was fine....then I ran Combo fix and it completed (removed three files). rebooted to normal and same problem resurfaced.....Then went back to diagnostic mode again and I searched the pc to find files modified before i detected a problem...Lo and behold the file mllmj.exe was there from the time of the problem......Combo fix removed the dll file but not the exe.....So I can only assume it was eating up my resourses trying to complete it's task....removed it to recycle bin and restarted now everything seems fine........Just an FYI.......Keep up the good work guys and thanks for the forum. It Just saved my bacon!!!!!

You are not going to believe this or maybe you will.....It's back.....after repeating the same procedure as before...i was searching and reviewing the report from combo.....here is what i see now...I have 7 files in the combo report exactly the same size (couple reported at the approx.time as the problem.....I now find that combo has removed the exact files it removed before....I have also found a zip folder named "catchme2007-12-23_173847.18.zip" and in exploring it guess what I find....the mllmj .dll file..........I cannot print nor access the internet from that pc so how can I proceed.....I have this pc I am using now to send this but I don't know how I can get a report off of the infected pc........sry! but help again.... and happy holidays......ho ho ho!
