ugh!

ok first off let me say that while im not a computer newbie i have just enough experience to know that i dont know enough to go deleting files and changing settings on my own.

that said heres my problem...

i have avira anti. and i have this file that keeps getting found ever hour.. same minute of the hour .. every hour... avira catches it right has its generated but i need to get rid of the host file who making these lil bastards.

ive done some research on this file and it seems like this is a common problem albeit a complex one to fix.. i dont want to follow someone elses solution because that may not be the correct one for my system.


ive followed all of the prerequisites to posting except running an online scan because i couldnt get it to work correctly with firefox. anyways heres my hijack this log...

oh i forgot to mention that in the past 2 days i have defragged in safe mode, ran spybot twice until no detections in safe and done the same with avira.

hope ive given you guys enough info! my hijack this log looks a lil small compared to others.. i hope i ran it correctly... i think i have log envy.
