Hello, I installed SB today, and let it do it's thing. I have a program that uses the 'host' file, and when I went to edit the file, and save the changes, there were thousands of addresses in there. I tried to make the changes and it said cannot create C:.windows\system32\drivers\etc\host file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct.
After several attempts to save the changes, I uninstalled SB, thinking that it was the issue, and thinking that it would delete those changes, but it did not. I really need to be able to edit and save the host file, so if someone can tell me why it won't let me, or how to fix it, I'd appreciate it. I have not reinstalled SB yet.
I am on Win XP.
Thanks.
