I have upgraded to SpyBot 1.5 and have now got the following errors when I run a check....

Any ideas how to remove these?

I have exactly the same problem. SpyBot detects a bunch of spyware on my computer, but it doesn't fix any of it because each detection has an error in the form of:

Error during check!: (Name Of Spyware) : Access violation at address 7C80D047 in module 'kernel32.dll' (Read of address 05894000)

I am running Windows XP Home, service pack 2

I am still having the kernel32.dll access problem. Is this the right place to come for help with this issue?

As you say a bunch of spyware is detected, have you tried running Spybot-S&D in safe mode, which gives access to only basic files and drivers.
