My son's computer seems to have picked up CMDService which can't be eliminated the usual way (Spybot, Ad-aware, etc.)

Steps taken:

I then tried to install AVG (three times) and have been unable to get past install errors (downloaded two different versions), so obviously, I cannot run it.

I did run TrojanHunter and let it try to fix any errors it found.

After that, I reran HiJackthis. For ease of reading, I will post the second log in the next post to this thread.

Is there anything I should try after this?
