Micosoft Windows. Redirected Hosts. Any ideas?

One of the French-speaking users has the following problem:

He is not using the Teatimer but when he starts a scan it does not go to the end and he gets the following message:

msn.com =127.0.0.1

What could I tell him?

It appears that there is an entry in your friends HOSTS file blocking access to msn.com.

The only thing that I can suggest is to either do a "Fix selected problems" on the detection or inspect the HOSTS for the following entry and delete it:

• 127.0.0.1 msn.com

The HOSTS file is located here:

• Win 95/98/ME = C:\WINDOWS
• Windows 2K = C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
• Windows XP/Vista = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
