Zlob Downloader won't go away [Archive]

Hi Spybot team,

I allowed the codec installation and later had several pop ups.

I had AVG antivirus automatically stop an installation of something so I knew I was infected.

I ran AVG antivirus, SpyBot SD V 1.5 and Adaware SE
(Tea timer was running but I allowed a reg change)

Now I keep coming up with a Zlob Downloader hit every time I run SpyBot SD. It flags and removes

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VideoPlugin

but it is back every time I boot.

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

I was looking at section O21 of HJT after reading a users guide on HJT:

O21 - SSODL: bmlvqkn - {5F388674-B13D-40EB-B9C5-55CEC41950AC} - C:\WINDOWS\bmlvqkn.dll (file missing)

O21 is a suspicious area because it is a delayed run but always runs because it is linked to Explorer starting. (see http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial42.html#O4Diag for more details.)

I was suspicious of the bmlvqkn.dll being a missing file and wondered about agrlmvp.dll, so I googled it. I found two separate websites with databases that labeled this as suspected malware and recommended removing it. I renamed this file and moved it to a folder that I created to quarantine it. Now my SpyBot SD and AVG scans come up clean and the offending registry key does not reappear.

The offending key was:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VideoPlugin

I am assuming it is fixed. What do you think?
