New Install, Already plagued by Malware

[Cronofan]

I've JUST installed Windows XP on my new computer, put anti virus and everything including SBSAD and Ad Aware and smart as I am didnt activate my firewall and now I am overrun with surfside kick, and command service and network monitor spyware that doesnt get removed. please help me get my brand new PC free of this garbage.

P.S. Im not one of those ppl who post a log and never come back, please help!

Follow the instructions there to upload:

It's a rather new malware and I'd like to get it detected.

Don't forget to get XP SP2 when we are done.

But wait till we clean you out or it might go wrong.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Click Start > Run type services.msc > OK
In the list of services find:
Microsoft Windows Update Service (Windows Update Service)
Rightclick that line and choose Properties.
On the General tab Stop and set the service to disabled.
In HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete an NT service
In the dialog box paste: Windows Update Service

Be very carefull to get the right one. If in any doubt ask first.

Then repeat the same procedure for:
Command Service (cmdService)

Post back with a new HijackThis log and let us know how your computer is behaving.

Almost there.

Click Start > Run type services.msc > OK
