I keep getting a message that ggdll[1] is infected and it keeps coming back no matter how many times my AV software says it has healed it. I have followed the instructions on the forum and have included the two reports below. If anyone can assist it will be greatly appreciated.

All advice given is taken at your own risk.
Please make sure you have read this information so we are on the same page.

Sorry about the wait, volunteers are few and infected computer are many. This is a Vundo infection and it can be tough to remove, some newer varieties infect program files and are a real mess. If you still have this problem, let's start like this, and if you should have this tool, delete it and download the newest version from the link I am providing.

"Download VundoFix" to your Desktop

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
When VundoFix opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will attempt run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click
the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot. Vundofix.txt will be on the C:\

I had run a few more programs to try and get rid and when I ran vundofix it found no infected files, so it looks like hopefully I am clear now.

Thanks for that feedback, but Vundo is hard to get rid of and I would like to be sure it is gone from your computer. Please post the C:\Vundo.txt and a new HJT log so we can do so.

Thanks for returning your information and the feedback, proceed like this.

1) We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
* Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
* If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
* On the left hand side, Click on Tools
* Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
* Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
* Restart your computer.
(leave TeaTimer disabled until we finish)

2) Open Vundofix by Doubleclicking on it, then point your mouse to the white box above the buttons and right click, then click on Add More Files. When the next window opens, copy and paste the files into the boxes and click on Add File(s), then click on Close Window. Then click Remove Vundo.

3) How to make files and folders visible:

Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

4) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune

Save it to your Desktop. We will use this later.

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

6) Right click Start > Explore and navigate to these files/folders and delete them if there.

7) Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post the Vundofix.txt, a new HJT log and let me know how the computer is running now.

I am not sure what you are doing, seems you may not be running Vundofix until it is finished, this item:

Is still in the HJT log and the Vundofix report should show those four files being removed. Read those directions and follow them again, then naviate to your System32 folder and make sure these files are not there:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cqbflltg.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtusr.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\jkkkigf.dll

C:\WINDOWS\system32\khfcdbx.dll

If they are gone, run a new Kaspersky scan to be sure it is clean. This stuff is hard to get rid of, you do not want to be rushing through these directions.

Thanks for checking that for us, you must have got it all, Kaspersky is reporting only:
D:\My Documents\a-vir\SmitfraudFix\Reboot.exe
Which is a false positive and part of Smitfraudfix. Delete that folder in red. Delete Vundofix and the C:\Vundofix Backups if they are still there.

Any other malware issues?
