Well my friends upload a lot of pictures on ImageShack from family and friends and all.

But I've noticed when I go back to look for that picture with the tags, there's also pornography, so is ImageShack safe? Or is it dangerous?

I doubt that ImageShack in and of itself is dangerous, more likely to be something a person uploaded.

What do you mean by, "I go back to look for that picture with the tags".

Best wishes.

Hi, I'm typing this from school, so my account may no longer be safe due to the school not having Spybot S&D's program.

But by tags, I meant I put in my friends name, and since like if I typed in "John Whatever" any images tagged with "John" and "Whatever" would show up.

And are you saying it is possible for someone to upload a virus/spyware on an imageshack image?

Not quite,

1. That article is kind of out of date. :/

2. Would YOU look at any image on imageshack?

It may be a tad out of date but the point is, stuff has and will happen. When an exploit is discovered, a reputable company will try to fix it.

Promising it won't ever happen again would be difficult, look at MySpace. ;)

Personally I have not experienced problems with pictures from ImageShack or the one I use, PhotoBucket.

Cheers.
