I had Exported copies of my bookmarks for Firefox and Netscape and put them into a Backup folder. When I do Exports, I add the date that I did them - ex.: FFbookmarks[July20-07].html.

I've reformated my puter and when I wanted to Import my bookmarks, well, I had 3 of each - all different dates and sizes. Obviously, when I Imported them, I ended up with doubles and triples of all bookmarks  . Since I have 100's of bookmarks, is there an easy way of deleting the extra's without having to go through each and every one of them???? I have them organized into folders and although I've gone through quite a few of them, scrolling up and down and trying to memorize URL's is just NOT my forte

At least IE recognized duplicates and deals with them.

Any ideas?

ETA:

From another site, a wonderful person told me about this:

"AM-DeadLink (http://www.aignes.com/deadlink.htm), it can check for duplicates and will also tell you which links are no longer valid."

It ROCKS!!!!!!

After all the years I've had Firefox, I've never checked out the add-ons :red:

I know what I'll be doing after supper :D:

Thanks, Katana :D:
