seems to be my problem. i have xp, i was using defender pro security when i started having trouble but dp had supposedly got rid of the problem. i bought mcafee and it wouldn't fully install. when i'd launch mcafee i got "cannot locate mcafee.exe" so i d'loaded kaspersky online and it caught the virus and eliminated it. it was a trial version and i re-installed the mcafee and it installed right. then i started having problems with the cpu fan running wild and cpu at very high %. desktop icons would disappear, firefox would shut down, explorer would stop. the last two days it's got worse and i'd d'loaded zone-alarm which gave me the name above and it won't delete, quarantine, rename, or anything. now i can't d'load anything like spybot. when i try, i click save file and the destination window never opens to chose a location to save it to. i hope someone can help me git rid of this crap, please! thanks!
