... to get Firefox back to speed..
Hi all !
I've been using SpyBot for many years quite successfully (and donated a bit too!).
It took me a while to recognize that moving from 1.4 to the various 1.5 versions (now 1.5.2), was indeed crippling my Firefox performances.
After a while, I found out all you need to do is to deselect (unclick) ALL "immunize" entries in the Firefox entry showing in the immunize menu.
Once you unselect all items, and execute the "immunize" task immediately after, Firefox comes back to speed.
Leave it to the experts to figure out what to do in future versions. I got reasonably convinced it does not hamper the overall security.
I also blocked third parties cookies from Firefox.
