Setting the "Program Start" elements

My problem is with the auto SPYBOT check.

Note: NOT like my previous issues this time all test are internal SPYBOT. I DO NOT use the task schecduler tool or the "start/run" windows option (as detailed in my previous notes.
I use ONLY SPYBOT internal options.
==========================================================
Here are my problem detailes:

MANUAL CHECK:
*click the "check for problems"
*click the "fix selected problems"
overall time : 8 mins

AUTO CHECK:
*on advenced mode Settings->Settings->Automation->Program Start:
set the elements:
-Run check on program start.
-Fix all problems on program start.
-Immunize on program start if program has been updated.
-Don’t ask for confirmation.
*close the tool.
After that :
*click the SPYBOT icon ( let the autocheck run)
overall time : 25 mins



My question : what else is needed to set in order to make the auto check
run as fast as the man check ???
why is there such diffrence 8 vs 25 mins ???
Is there a basic diffrence between the two runnings that can not be "fixed"???

Note :I'm on WIN98
