Version 1.4

Hi ,I must have been sleeping the last few years. When did vesion 1.5 come out? I still have 1.4 and update it regularly. I never noticed any thing about 1.5.1 My questions are am I protected, and if so do I need to update? Also when I updated today I see the main update 1.5.2 at around 200 or 300kb.Will this update make me current or do I actuall need to install 1.5.1 first? Thank You for your time. Lee

You are still protected with version 1.4 but 1.5.2 has many improvements and bug fixes.

Do I need to uninstall version 1.4 before installing 1.5?
Uninstalling old versions is not strictly necessary, since the update will replace all important files. Only if you do not like to end up with two entries in the Uninstall list, you should uninstall any older version.

You can install Spybot-S&D 1.5.2 over 1.4.

I would recommend doing a clean install if you were running Windows Vista.

tashi, thank you for your reply. When I look for updates in spybot it shows a update which says (main application update 248kb version 1.5.2). If I download this file will it change my current install version to 1.5.2 or do I need to download the entire version which is 9.5mb. I have dialup and if I can avoid a file that large it would be great.Thanks again for your help. Lee
