Hi Tashi
You asked me to start a new topic, I guess that means new thread.
I haven't a clue how these forums work, so please be patient with me with your jargon.
What do I do from here?
Regards
Bob

Hi Hocka

Click here (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exe) to download HJTInstall.exe
Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
Click on Install.
It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT use the AnalyseThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Hi Shaba
This Forum is coming in on my #1 computer. My #2 computer has the problem & sometimes I can't access IE or access files thru Network. I have to save the results to #1 computer & send to you.
Hope it worked OK.
I also presume that this is where I paste the results.
Cheers
Bob

Hi Shaba
Yes spybot finds Zlob, I `fix' it but it returns.
I tried Sophos but it didn't find any hidden files.
I've just installed GMER & I'm currently running a scan with AVG from GMER. I will then run spybot again & send file to you or tel you if all is OK.

Are you really in Finland? I can't believe someone on the other side of the rock is helping me.
I play field hockey, are you into ice hockey?
Cheers
Bob

Hi

Thanks for those :)

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure Run fixit is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads, post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.

Hi Shaba
I'm concerned I might cause damage.
Fixwareout message says `This batch will remove Wareout, KillNclean, SpyMarshall, UnSpy PC, SpyVampire &...rootkit...
Use at your own risk!
Is this OK?
