Shut Down issue

Hi, i just updated from 1.4 to 1.5.2.20, installed over 1.4. When I ran a scan it took longer to scan than previous version. have tried some fixes suggested on this form. My main issue at this time is S&D will not shut down when clicking x. I have to shut it dowd using task manager. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks. Lee

remove all traces of spybot and then download the newest version again. that should fix it. it is usually ok to install the newest spybot over the old one, but sometimes a system needs it to be completely removed in some cases and then the new version.
