ok. i did.

well my girlfriend downloaded what she thought was a recipe toolbar but little did she know she was downloading malware. so the computer will randomly popup adware and then freeze. and goes really really slow every since she downloaded the "toolbar".

Open Spybot Mode | Advanced
Tools | Resident and untick the box for TeaTimer to disable it.
Exit Spybot.
In the Windows system tray, if the TeaTimer icon is still present, right click it and exit the TeaTimer.
Please leave it disabled until we are finished fixing your machine. At which time you may restart TeaTimer.

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following,

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {69BCD761-CA18-4D0F-9A4F-3FD016F9AB08} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\nnlij.dll (file missing)

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4) to your desktop.

* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
* When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the
Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.
