uninstall

I'm looking to uninstall this software. We had been using an earlier version that a friend had suggested and installed. In turn, I had suggested Spybot as well to a few friends. It worked well for us until now.

However, this update will not load after installation. I've wasted a solid hour of my time uninstalling, reinstalling, trying to reinstall a previous version, etc. Apparently, the uninstaller will not delete all files. I've run in to all kinds of problems, from the loading issue to issues trying to install an older version and a message coming up that claims there is still a file on the HD. And said file can not be deleted. We're on XP.

At this point I want everything off my HD. I'll be moving on w/o Spybot.

Can someone help?

Spybot - Search & Destroy will uninstall from the Windows Add/Remove Software control panel without problems.
