Moin!
I have Problems with my Notebook (Acer Travelmate 233LC). I'm not able to start Windows XP Home. I used Knoppix and found several files from a bagle and deleted them after a restart via DOS-Console:
c:\windows\system32\hldrrr.exe
c:\windows\system32\srosa.sys
c:\windows\system32\down
c:\windows\system32\directx.exe
c:\windows\system32\mdelk.exe
c:\windows\system32\wintems.exe

I thought that would be enough - but I was wrong. I cannot boot anymore. Windows crashes at the bootlogo.
What can I do now? Are there any files I didn't see yet? Would it help to use fixmbr?
