I get sent a tin of short breads around Christmastime, so I'll say....
Christmas
caramel-icing
(my mother made the best icings for her home made cakes)
I bet it was yummy, there's nothing like homemade.
Pecans....
I may have already posted this but it's worth repeating
candied-pecans
pinwheels.
0h my stars those are so good
melted-butter
They sure are. :)
Melted-butter makes me think of.....
Popcorn.
And I just realized I have some, so thanks for helping me decide on my midnight snack.
No melted butter, though.
Ah, well, it's the white cheddar variety, so it's still pretty good.
Ketchup.....
Our weird Canadian flavour chips, which I was shocked to hear that most other countries don't have. :D:
ketchup flavored chips?
mustard-n-relish
Yup, ketchup chips are pretty yummy, but the stained red fingerprints they leave behind aren't so great. It adds nothing to the decor. :D:
Mustard, relish and add mayo, and it makes a quick....
tartar sauce
for when you're in a hurry.(Plus it's the only thing I really know how to make, lol!)
I've never had guacamole yet. I keep meaning to try it, but never seem to get around to it. It looks delicious.

Roadhouse...
I read on a site that the bhut jolokia's measures about 1,000,000 on the Scoville scale. :flame:
I don't think I'll be trying one of those either.
Grey.....
How can some people eat things that are that hot?, were they born without taste buds or something? (Or burned them off)
purple
I dunno, I can usually only manage mild salsa. I accidentally got medium once, and had to run for the rolaids.
Liger....
The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger
goodness, that took some arranging.....the 2 animals don't care for each other.
frankencats
I read online that a couple of ligers have happened accidentally in captivity, though I'm not sure how legit what I was reading was. But, yeah, generally not a natural occurrence, and it says it doesn't happen in the wild because of geography, and also it would result in less fit offspring. :)
....Minds
I really can't see it happening in nature, different breeds of cats like that usually avoid each other because a grown lion can kill them so easily.
But, if science says it can happen I'm not going to say it can't.
Seems like that can either make an animal more aggressive? or passive?, not knowing what species it belongs to?
scientific
I read that ligers are usually less aggressive than their normal counterparts. Male ligers are usually sterile. National Geographic has an article about ligers and other hybrids, and it points out some of the downsides to it:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/02/wildlife-watch-liger-tigon-big-cat-hybrid/
This article has a picture of Hercules, who is a liger, and he's also in the Guinness Book of World Records:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/13/hercules-liger-worlds-largest-cat-photos_n_3920158.html
If I had seen just the picture online, without an article, I would have thought it was photoshopped.
Unusual.....
It messes up genetics greatly. If it were meant to be it would be something happening in the wild instead of being created in a controlled environment.
I'm not the boss.
I saw Hercules, oh my stars!
unnecessary
I agree. The only way I think it would be okay is if it was an extinction situation, and even then I'd worry about a hybrid's overall fitness. If lions and tigers came from the same animal at one time, they probably split off millions of years ago. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. :)
Unneeded....
would not want a hybrid of myself.....
think they would be sorry anyways....lol
not-natural
Some humans have a small percentage of neanderthal dna, so maybe some of us are sort of hybrids, or at least our ancestors sort of would be. Kinda cool, when you think of it. :)
Manmade....
some of us are sort of hybrids
And each new generation is a continuation of yet another hybrid?
Manmade
fabricated
Well, the dna is probably there, but a very small percentage. So probably 1 to 4% dna in some humans. They did find a neanderthal hybrid a few years ago:
http://www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view/articleNo/43354/title/Neanderthal-Human-Hybrid-Unearthed/
That one had 6 to 9 % dna. :)
Assembled...
Warren Worthington III.....
(Okay, my comic book geekiness is showing, something I usually keep well hidden.) :D:

Rhinoplasty.....
That always struck me as an odd name. It sounds like they're giving a rhinoceros a facelift or something.
lol
Rhinoplasty <== ouch!
botox
Fun fact: When I was a little kid I thought my nose was too big, so I used to put a blanket over my nose so it would sweat, 'cause I thought it would make my nose smaller.
Treatment...
lol
children are so innocent and sweet with what they think in their little heads.....
cosmetic
Could you imagine if it worked? The Nose Sweater, make your nose 2 sizes smaller. I can see the infomercials now. :D:

Foundation.....
If you make your nose smaller, why even have one?
thinking, it would look like one of those noses that has had reductions done so many times it's so small and collapsed looking?
yucker poo
framework
Yeah, sometimes when people have their nose done that much, I think it's a body dysphoria disorder thing, so they just keep getting nose jobs, but it's not perfect enough in their own eyes. It's sad.
Quilting....
Deerstalker....
....of the hat variety, not the peeping into the windows of deer variety.
(Though I don't suppose deer have windows.) :D:
"Dans sa maison un grand cerf" -> he has windows!
hehe! Bugs Bunny is one of my favourite cartoon characters. :)
Catchphrase.....
roadrunner was mine, runner up was --> Pepé Le Pew
expression
I liked the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote, too. And Pepe Le Pew, and that poor, poor cat, Penelope. I also really liked Marvin the Martian.
I guess there's supposed to be a Pepé Le Pew movie made soon.
Grin.....
Around here we get to watch a lot of sponge bob square pants.
smiley-face
I only watched Spongebob once or twice. The ones I watched were pretty good, though. :)
Emoticon.....
Dallas-Cowboy (cheerleaders)
My Mom still sputters and laughs about the time she picked me up and took me to a craft show, and I spent $10 whole dollars for homemade soap.
Homemade
the homemade ones are definitely prettier the store bought.
quality
Yes, they sure are. To which my Mom would deadpan frugally say "Yes, but not $10 pretty." lol!
Mercedes-benz.....
Ancient....
Which is what I felt like today when I got up and both knees made a weird snapping noise. :D:
don't have to be old to do that....
I took a fall in snow and ice a couple of years ago, happened so fast didn't know I had fell till I hit the ground.
Since then, my knee cracks very often and will stay sore for a couple of days.
pre-historic

Interesting story behind those.
Feral.
Interesting story behind those.
Yes, it is, isn't it? I look them up every so often, have a look at any pictures available. I'm glad they're protected, and can just hang out on Sable Island and do their own thing. :)
Beasts....
That's the first I heard of a Hauberk before, I ended up on a Wikipedia jaunt, very interesting. Good thing it wasn't tv tropes, or I'd still be there.
Mail...
Considering I always refuse to put up a Christmas tree, I might possibly be the Grinch.
Dr. Seuss....
we have to buy a new one this year since all the needles fell off last year.
Which is bad since it still works.
Cat in the Hat
I have one of those fiber optic trees, which flashes. It is horrid. I refused to put it up for about 5 years running now. It's worse than staring at hypno toad all Christmas.
Red Bowtie.....
I still have my old Nintendo from when I was a kid. A couple years back, I hooked it up and still worked! It's survived a couple moves to new places without getting lost, and then it's languished in the spare room for years. After I saw it still worked, I thought "Cool! I'll find some old games for it.", then I promptly put it back into the spare room, and it's been there ever since.
Switch.....
LOL, typical adult and old games
