The Quintessential Grilled Cheese Sandwich
perfectly made with 2 different cheeses.
It better be perfect for $214.00. It could be served by two angels and the world's handsomest merman, and I still probably wouldn't pay 214 dollars for a cheese sandwich! It does look good, though.
Exquisite.....

I'll be up front and honest, I will not pay that for anyone's sandwiches, doesn't matter what they have on it! (no matter who's serving it)
Anything found can be duplicated at home....and at a reasonable price.
divine
Delightful.....
Yes, I agree. I can't help but wonder if the people who have ordered the cheese sandwich have had the $1000 sundae for dessert. :D:

Discourteous...
Discourteous...
seems to be todays normal way of communication
rudeness
Here in Canada, we aren't discourteous very often, but it does happen once in a while. We usually make up for it by apologizing 9 or so times. (Usually in a single sentence.)
Unmannerly.....
You know, this is kinda funny
In the southern states where I live....if we say something discourteous
It wasn't meant that way or, it was said to mean it but with a thought to which way it was intended.
example
Oh, is that grey hair?, it's beautiful
Oh, is that grey hair?, i'm sure in time it will be beautiful.
unlikable
I'm usually of the "Oh, look you have grey hair now, wow, you're getting old." variety. I don't intend it, it's just that those things come sailing out of my mouth before I think of how it sounds.

That's alright, if you screech loud enough to break glass, just go into opera singing. :D:

deafening
hehe! Don't worry, I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Could you imagine if we sang a duet?
(I bet Simon Cowell, wherever in the world he might be right now, just had a sudden cold chill when I typed that.) :D:
Louder....
Simon Cowell's ear drums would explode.

when I saw the word mist, it made me think of that movie "Gorillas in the mist"
Soon we will be able to watch a documentary (I don't think they said it was a movie) on Diane Fossy.
Just thought I would throw that in there.
Humidity....
Oh, I just looked that up. It says the documentary will present a new theory on her death. That looks like it will be pretty good.

As a child my father would take us once in a while to have a milk shake.
My favorite was Black Cherry, can't say why but I felt I had gone to heaven.
I've never had a black cherry milkshake before. What have I missed? It looks pretty yummy. :)

Black cherry also makes a pretty nice hair colour:

I just looked that up to see what year it ended, and saw that it's still on TV. :thud:
I wish Another World lasted that long, I used to love that show.
oh my gosh how did we forget
All My Children
That was a long running soap, too. And of course it had the iconic Erica Kane. She really made the show. Total villain, but she was one everybody loved to hate
Susan Lucci
Saw an article on TV recently and all I got to say is
She needs to stop the plastic surgery like, last attempt to look younger.
I just looked her pictures up for 2017. I see what you mean, she definitely doesn't look 70!
Emmy.....
I see she finally won one in 1999. I remember her being nominated year after year, and not winning. :)
hungry!
what you guys cooking special for Christmas?
Bought a big ham this morning, brown sugar and pineapples will adorn this fantastic piece of meat.
Tummy Rumbles.....
I'm off the hook this year, my Grandmother is cooking dinner Christmas Eve, so we'll probably just bring home Christmas leftovers on the day. :)
Last year my husband made spaghetti, which is weird on Christmas, but I was relieved I didn't have to eat turkey, so it was great.
My Mom was given a turkey from work, and she went straight home, stuffed it in the freezer, and called my Grandmother and told her she was giving her the turkey, on the condition that she cooked it on a day besides Christmas Eve, because she didn't want to eat turkey(not liking turkeys runs in the family, I guess.) So we're having Not Turkey. My grandma did mention duck might be nice, so I'm sort of hoping for that.
That ham sounds delicious! :)
We are going to have boeuf bourgignon and probably a lunchtime snooze! And Birthday cake later on...

Countdown.....
Hard to believe it's going to be 2018 already. We're in the future, where are the hoverboards like in Back to the Future and why can't we teleport yet? I guess the hoverboards would not be safe, and I think I read somewhere that if we teleported technically we would be killed, then recreated every time we teleport, so I guess that's out. Ah, well, they were nice thoughts, anyways.

I don't think the world needs 2 of me if I were to be recreated because I used teleporting....it just ain't going to work out.
Me and Hoverboards would lead to broken bones, so big no no there
What I've wanted to do since being a child is to twitch my nose like Samantha on BeWitched and get all my work done with one twitch!

haha, just do like you had an itch on your nose!

Could you imagine if it worked? The first thing I'd do is warm the temperature outside to something much more reasonable, like 0°C, which is still pretty cold, but would seem like it was Florida around here compared to the current temperature....-15!
oh my goodness, I have never been anywhere in my life that had cold temperatures like that.
Glad I wasn't around during the glacier age.

Those are delicious! For some reason I never think of getting them except during the holidays. The same with toffifee.
They got smart with the Lindor Chocolate Milk and have them up by the check-outs, lately, so I usually grab those. :D:

Another one I've never eaten before, that looks delish. :)
I guess cooks get insulted nowadays when you order it that way, but I always like my steak well-done.
When I used to work in a restaurant, a few people would come in and order steak burnt.
Country fried steak and gravy....yum yum
I like my steaks medium, pink don't scare me.
We used to have some people come in and order steaks blue, which I hadn't heard of before and thought maybe they wanted some sort of smurf coloured steak. I quickly found out it meant they wanted it practically still mooing.

I like the thought of some dinosaurs with feathers, though, because reptiles sort of wig me out.
Sicklebill....
spiders and snakes send me running
Peacock
I don't mind spiders, but I'm petrified of snakes. Well, I don't mind spiders, but even I found it a little daunting when there was a baby spider nest on my shed door latch one summer. I didn't see them and stuck my hand in it. A spider also put a nest of spiders on my mailbox this summer. I would have left them, but I figured that was probably not in the mailman's job description, so I swatted them down as gently as possible. They were on the ground and seemed ok. Since no good deed goes unpunished, they probably crawled their way into my house when I wasn't looking or something, lol.
Peachicks...
Last summer, sitting at a picnic table by the lake, enjoying the sun and breeze, I felt something on the top of my head.
Thought a twig had hit me.
I reached up to remove it to find it was the biggest black spider I had ever seen and proceeded to scream my head off! (no telling how many times I must had smacked myself in the head to remove it over and over)
I must had looked like one of those people caught on funny video and submitted for money and I think we would had won. And it just gave me chills again.
bald eagle
lol! Yes, I bet you would have won.
Even knowing I don't mind spiders too much, I bet I would have screamed, too.
Eagle Cam.....
It's amazing when you think of birds building nests, isn't it? How do they know how to do it? It's not like they would have a handbook on how-to. How come different types of birds know to make a nest the way they are supposed to, i.e. how does a robin know to build a robins nest the way robins do, and an eagle know how to build one the way they do? Why don't we work like that? Why don't fathers and mothers just suddenly know how to knit baby booties when they're going to have children, like birds know to make nests?
Good Omen....
or how to cook and clean house?
instincts
Yeah, we should know all that naturally. Not even with offspring involved, just when we reach a certain age, then Boom! We go out and instantly know how to build a house. Nobody would ever subscribe to Primitive Technology again. :D:
Survivor....
Spell-check, don't fail me.

I don't seem to mind going on boats, not that I've been on too many, but I've gone on ferries before and such. I'm surprised at that, because I have a bridge phobia, so you would think I'd be afraid to be on boats, because presumably I'm scared of bridges because I'm scared it would collapse and I'd fall in the water.
