Dont know that I want to be hypnotized by a frog
hehe, you won't think that way for long after you gaze into his freaky hypno eyes. :alien:
Glass Frogs...
They say, if you kiss a frog they'll turn into a Prince
something that looks like fun is to ride a snow mobile
Oh, yes, it is. It's been a lot of years, but I remember going snowmobiling when I was young. :)
Arctic Cat...
Ive never been on one since living in an area where it hardly ever snows.
I've seen shows on TV where getting around in winter on a snow mobile is a must, ALASKA the last Frontier
I love the Discovery Channel, the next good one to watch is Home & Garden
Weeds > Garden  always growing faster than what you've sown.
That reminds me of homegrown tomatoes
those are beautiful but...Better Boy are bigger.
tomatoes are great, in Austria they are called "Paradeiser" -> Apple of Paradise
Thats a beautiful name, they should name one to Ray of sunshine
That made me think of my globe for some reason. I wonder where I put that? Probably stuffed somewhere in the spare room, I would imagine.
Wonder how many cartographers it took originally to create a map of the world.
I can't even imagine, it must have been so many of them. I can't even read a map, much less make one, lol.
Atlas...
I think its amazing that all refer to the Earth
It's amazing when you think of it, isn't it? Not only that we developed enough to be able to make maps of the entire globe, but also that we also developed enough to know we are on a globe. To early humans everything must have been one big mystery...like what are stars and why do they only come out at night, that kind of thing.
Planet...
I agree but, to this day you have those who want to take advantage of everything and act like cave men take whats not theirs and act aggressively to all others.
(Sorry, watched the news last night and rioters act like or worse then cave men)
Cro-magnon...
Yes, the news is a depressing thing lately, that's for sure.
Wilma (https://blog.nationalgeographic.org/2008/09/17/neanderthal-model-is-first-replica-of-extinct-human-species-based-on-dna/) :)
tsk tsk tsk, we've got to set Wilma up for a spa/makeover day
Puttin' on the Ritz...
I saw that at a glance and thought, why is she talking about Him?
Down south here, when we got a few folk coming over for a meal of course we want to show out.
We talk about laying out a big spread of food for everybody to dive into.
Well, now I'm picturing Putin in a top hat and tails, dancing around like Fred Astaire.
Buffet...
My husband's snoring used to sort of resemble a softly purring kitten. Nowadays, it's more like a thunderous earthquake. When I shout Roll Over!, it usually stops for all of 5 seconds. Yeesh.
The windows rattle here
I video tapped it......that, didnt go over so well.
Haha, I expect it didn't. lol!
When the glass breaks from the snoring you'll have to make a video and send it to Guinness World Records....or America's Home Videos.
Glass repair people will stay busy.
Wonder why is it, the person snoring doesn't hear it or wake up? They sleep right through it.
Glazier...
Yes, you'd think nobody would be able to sleep through that. Maybe it's like some sort of snoring white noise or something, but then that doesn't explain not being able to sleep when other people snore. lol.
glass cutters
Reminds of stain glass windows
The Stonecutters...
I always thought most of the stain glass windows were very pretty.
Stones make beautiful buildings and, one of the little piggies made their house out of stone so the big bad wolf couldn't blow it away
lol
All that wolf needed was a little push in the right direction, and he could have had a successful demolition company.
timber wolf...
geeeee's those animals are big.
We had a neighbor get an alert from her Ring doorbell there was motion noticed on her front porch, couldn't see what it was so she investigated
Opened the door, and screamed, there laid a large, large snake!
The motion detector picked up on the movement and she reviewed the video, there it was
I would not want to come face to face with either animal.
 That would be my worst nightmare. I'd probably even consider moving if that happened to me!
Reptiles...
Nahhh, you can get a broom and knock a snake off your porch, it's shadow people you can't shush away, now theres a problem.
Is that something you can sage?
I hope so......I'm not experienced but, I think that along with a House blessing would be protective.
Rites...
Yes, probably, I don't have experience with that kind of thing, either. Apparently, after I moved out of my childhood home, the taps used to turn on by themselves. I never knew if it was a ghost problem or a plumbing problem. New people own it now, I always wonder if anything like that ever happened there afterwards, but don't know them to ask.
When I saw people on the internet mentioning using sage for something paranormal, it always baffled me, I never understood how that would make a ghost go away. I guess I ought to look it up sometime. :)
Spirit world
Ones beliefs and experiences are usually kept quiet because of those who say it doesn't happen. Might not, it might, I'll say I do not know.
Very soon after my Mother died I was laying in bed, I heard her call my name, did she really? I do not know
Very shortly after my Mother died my sister who was 9 months pregnant, heard her call her name. Did it happen, I do not know.
It only happened once I am very glad to say.
It's kind of cool if she did call your name and your sister's name, though. Sort of a "Hey, I'm still around and thinking of you." kind of deal.
I always say I'm not sure or I don't know, too. Many years ago, my mom took me over to her house and I was there for a while. We went out to the car, and the downstairs bedroom light turned on by itself. Before my mom lived there, a lady lived there that got very sick and eventually died after going to the hospital. So I always wondered....the lady, or some sort of electrical issue?
A few years later, the scarier option occurred to me...what if there was a real live person in the house that turned on the light? Though, nothing seemed disturbed afterwards, there was no indication of forced entry and most burglars don't break in just to turn on lights to scare the bejeebers out of you, but still...made me wonder.
Also, if there are spirits around, I wonder why we have such a fear reaction?
Paranormal...
Also, if there are spirits around, I wonder why we have such a fear reaction?
Maybe one day, if science and research are able, we'll find out.
My thought, beware of what you wish for. If trying to communicate using a Voice Recorder indeed captured something......I don't think I'd ever be the same person.
Yes, that would freak me out, too.
EVP...
Wonder what would be worse, seeing something or hearing something?
That's a toss-up. I figure both would be scary.
Listening...
In either case, if I saw or heard anything I'd probably be the one screaming Nope! and running away as fast as I could.
I think there is quite a bit that cannot be explained
taught...
I'm usually right in the middle between skeptical and believing. If there is a rational explanation for something, I'll take it seriously, but if there's something that does seem paranormal, I'll consider that, too. I find a lot of skeptics will dismiss large parts of a story to say it was swamp gas or whatever, and I find paranormal believers will sometimes toss good scientific explanations out the window. I always try to consider both sides of it, either way it's pretty cool. :)
personal experience
When someone asks questions I have to reply, I don't know because thats the truth, I don't know.
But, since my mother has passed, I still talk to her presence in my mind and if it's in my mind only I can accept that too.
Spiritual Growth...
That's pretty cool. Almost like your Mom stuck around in some capacity as perhaps, a guide or just even to stay with you. :)
Spiritual Understanding
It happened once, only once and it was for the best it never happened again.
Insight...
I know at my step-great-grandfather's funeral, I was quite upset and crying, and the preacher looked right at me and said we knew my step-great-grandfather would never want us to be upset because he passed away. I presume the preacher knew him, because that was very true, but there was an empty seat beside me and I always felt like my step-great-grandfather was sitting beside me. It was a very comforting presence. I know it sounds silly, but I almost felt like he was compelling the preacher to say that, though I doubt that could be true. I'm the same way, I cannot outright say he was really there, but I also can't just discount it, either.
Intuition
I think our bodies and our minds can feel spirit.
Gut Instinct...
Me, too. I also read an interesting post once that intuition might be our brain gathering and processing information that tells us how best to proceed but we don't consciously know it so it comes out as a gut instinct or sixth sense, which I thought was pretty cool though I don't know how legit that is. :)
(women's intuition), psychic
I think many decisions could had been made better if we had followed our gut feeling.......
second sight...
Yes, I agree. :)
Isn't it remarkable that our Intuitive, gutt feeling can be so accurate.
Incredible...
Yup, it is. Though I wouldn't mind if my gut instinct would lead me to picking the winning lottery numbers, mind, but so far no luck.
oh yeah
But wouldn't it be a bad idea to see into the future, we're better off dealing with one day at a time......
Which brings me to "Time Travelers", I've got mixed feelings here.
Yup, usually it's best to deal with the present, though things like a heads up on covid-19 would have been nice. Though I suppose as it happens we adapt quickly though, if we had foresen covid, we would probably have been scared and thought the world is ending.
I love the time slip stories. I don't know if I believe them or not, but I love reading about them. I was reading about a disappearing house mirage the other day: :)

for the time being I have to claim it to be science fiction
...Comic
I looked him up, and he's still alive. Age 75. Cool!
If I had ever made it to the Olympics, I would had been happy to come in 50th place!
I'd be so happy
Me, too. :)
Patton Oswalt...
I could never be a standup comedian
Me, neither.
Stage fright...
gad, aka generalized anxiety disorder.
I think I deal with that on a daily basis.
STRESS!
One of my relatives say they "worry about worrying", lol.
Pressure...
One of my relatives say they "worry about worrying
Does that make one a pessimist
Pretty much, with a dash of cynicism as well, haha.
Well let's turn that around and be cheerful
he got a good night's sleep didn't he
Yeah, I thought it was for 100 years, but apparently it was only twenty.
Still quite a snooze, though.
Or we could be like Sleeping Beauty and wait for the right prince to come along
Prince Jean-Christophe Napoleon...
be my luck, I'd get stuck with an old toad
Ah, there;s only one explanation for marrying a princely old toad....
Hypnotoad (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64Qq31ucGy0)...
Don't worry, you will spend your days thinking he's a prize catch.
I don't think I can be hypnotized, especially when theres a frog close to my face.
gives me the creeps
cold chills...
I've always been afraid of most reptiles, especially snakes, but for some reason I've never minded frogs or toads. Though puckering up and kissing one would be a bit too gross.
goose bumps
I've got to have some kind of guarantee that if I'm puckering up, I can see the end results before they happen :)
lol!
goose pimples...
It'll soon be that time of year when we can see our breath again. Not gonna lie, I'm not looking forward to it. My favourite time of year is the fall.
Winter...
Then again, as topsy turvy as 2020 has been, maybe we'll have two falls or summer over again, or something. :)
Our summer was exceptional hot, not ready to repeat that just yet.
snow flakes
I don't mind heat too much, but I don't do well with humidity.
Jack Frost...
wow that looks good
Smores
Yws, they're almost too good. Eating just one is almost impossible, lol.
Camping...
I cant just eat one potato chip
If your camping, be careful or you could see a Yeti
makes me think of Switzerland
under the radar bank accounts
Secrecy...
Firefox wanted to correct that to secretary. That would have been confusing, I'm sure.
Well yeah, would had thrown me for a big loop
whispers
Telephone...
That was a game we played as kids where you'd whisper in somebodies ear and they'd whisper to someone else, then the last person said what they heard. Usually it was totally different by that time.
we did that.......was never what it started as
telegraph
reminds me of lots of cables on a pole
I always found it confusing how little birds could sit on all those wires and never get an electric jolt.
I had a crow hanging around my place, for awhile that had some of his feathers sticking out all over the place, so I wondered if he had a bit of a jolt somehow. Haven't seen him lately.
I looked, and BCHydro provided an answer on how those little cuties can do that. :)
https://www.bchydro.com/news/unplug_this_blog/2015/birds-on-power-lines.html
well, I don't want to sit on a power line but, would like to fly like a bird.
That would be awesome.
Gliding...
virtual head-sets
I'd like to have one I think.......
Yeah, me too. Though my luck I'd buy one and hate them, haha. :)
Oculus...
I've been looking at one of those but at the moment it's to expensive
Yes, they are a pretty penny.
Blue Moon Diamond...
an un-rigged election
those in the US know what I'm talking about.
I'm seeing things about unrigged elections mentioning the electoral college.
I'm hoping that's not offensive to Americans, I don't understand what the heck the electoral college is. I've looked it up multiple times. I just always feel confused, lol.
the candidate who gets the most votes wins the "electoral votes" for that state, and gets that number of voters (or "electors") in the "Electoral College."
The election of 2020 is historical, some consider it not over yet.
There is mention of people in high places guilty of some things that would bring prison sentences to the average but since Money buys power.....
dictatorship...
Yes, I don't watch the news that much, and even I''ve been watching the goings-on somewhat with you guys' politics. :)
socialism
wouldn't it be nice to live without or fewer rules?
But, now that I think of it, sounds scary.
Utopian...
Yes, it would be nice with less rules, but then there'd always be bad seeds that would ruin it, unfortunately.
Utopian...
Yes, it would be nice with less rules, but then there'd always be bad seeds that would ruin it, unfortunately.
yes
nearly perfect
That reminds me of the Naturally Imperfect brand of apples we have at one of our grocery stores. I'm not sure why, maybe because I mentioned seeds,, haha.
can apply to tomatoes too
I like those little cherry tomatoes.
You know, those taste somewhat sweet when grilled
I've never had them that way, but it sounds tasty.
I had it with pasta and basil salad
That sounds yummy.
herb...
borderline form of Autism
That reminded me of Beauty and the Beast
oh wow, can you imagine being asleep, looking to the floor and see your shoe laces glowing?
Don't think I could handle that!
Deal...
I think I had shoelaces that had a glow in the dark logo at one time, if I remember correctly. Wonder whatever happened to those?
No idea
When I go to sleep I only want to see the back of my eye lids :)
Dark...
I used to be like that, but my husband is one of those nightlight people. Now when he's away, when I try sleeping without a nightlight I can't sleep. He jinxed me!
LOL
I know, I'm a creature of habit too
Habitual...
I also have to have the fan on to sleep now, too. I can't sleep without it...even though it''s January and freezing, lolz.
Habitual Romantic
if your cold, cuddle up!
There's an idea. But I fear he might snore in my ear if we cuddle, lolz.
Candlelight dinner...
Darling, learn tune out techniques :)
champagne toast
Bubbly...
The only tune out technique that would work with that snoring is wearing six earplugs! Okay, maybe his snoring isn't quite that bad, but it's close, lol.
lol
I never knew this seriously was real, but looked it up and it is a real thing.....
Snore room....
It's either, buy extra pillows to cover your ears or buy an extra pillow to place over his head!
lol!
Anti-snore Pillow...
Wishing Well...
I was wishfully thinking I hope I hear the snow plow soon, and as soon as I thought it, it finally went by!
I shan't be going anywhere because the RCMP or someone similar apparently said to stay off the roads, but at least I know we can go out at some point, at least.
We dont get snow here really, it's like a freak event if we do.
wish upon a star

Quaint...
