Dallas... ( and who shot JR tee-shirts! )
LOL
And just call me Miss Sue Ellen
I couldn't imagine going to divorce court against J.R. He'd pull every trick in the book, I imagine. Though hopefully not with child support.
Garnishment...
Mixed feelings about that.
He'd do everything he could to hurt Sue Ellen but, not so much to his son and, not to damage the Ewing name?

Harridan...
Yeah,J.R. was a pretty complex character. They should have hooked him up with Alexis from Dynasty, then did a crossover. That would've been something.
my mother-in law
lol! :laugh::laugh:

Aye indeed!
demanding
Puerile...
which usually always end traumatically
heartbreaking....
I named my rabbit, pony, cat, and I think it was a hamster after a friend that lived down the road before one of my relatives suggested I might not like to be so forward. However, my friend took the small hint and declared his love. Then he moved away not too long afterwards, and I took it in stride, and I figure he did, too. Probably because we were both around 7 or 8 at the time, lol!
heartbreaking
Recovery
I don't think I liked boys at that age......I had 2 brothers and they were monsters.
Mend....
hehe, yes. I remember thinking most boys were icky then. Except for my first crush, of course.
recovered
I guess age has stepped in for me, I can't remember the first crush I had.
healed...
I always thought I remembered quite a bit, but one of my relatives recently asked if I remembered being with them when their truck broke down years ago, and I couldn't remember it.
transformed
Sometimes I cant remember something someone might have said yesterday, forget years ago!
Metamorphosis...
Oh, yes, me too. :)
math = yuck
Home Economics
I agree on the math.
Industrial arts...
We used to have one semester of industrial arts, and then one semester of home ec. I preferred the industrial arts, and I'm pretty certain the home ec teacher preferred it when I was in industrial arts as well. Poor woman probably gets a migraine when she thinks of me in home ec to this day. :hair:
My husband was at a different school so he got to pick. He always picked home ec because that's where all the ladies were. Smart man!
LOL, your husband is smart!
I was told I had to many extracurricular but that went in one ear and out the other.
drama class...
I suppose it depends. If you thought you might like to be a actress or musician, then it would probably be important to take drama or music in school, even just to see iif it's really your thing or not. :)
When I was younger I thought I would be good in politics
I'm known to spout out thoughts well.
You never know, you might have ended up being President Juliet. :)
President of the cleanup patrol
refills...
I always sort of wanted one of those, but never got around to getting it.
I've got one, good to use when in a hurry
Quick...
I'll get one, one of these days. I also want to get the magic eraser sheets. :)
When I go to quick
I'm like a bull in a china shop
I've used magic eraser, on somethings, not impressed.
Ferdinand...
Oh, I love the magic erasers, but it bugs me a little using them on different stuff. I don't want to clean the tub with them, then just rinse off the sponge and clean the counter. That's why I want to try the sheets. I guess Magic Erasers started as pipe insulation and somebody fouund out you can clean with them. Makes me wonder how they ever found that out. :)

Walt Disney Productions
what was the link for?
Disney+...
Oops, I meant to link to melamine, but linked to the contact form by mistake, haha.
edit:I better make sure I didn't link somebody in the spybot forum to the melamine page.
Disney+
Don't know what they supply where you live but, I think when a channel has the + sign next to it, it's a streaming channel now?
Dr. Seuss
I don't know about the + sign because I'm a cord cutter, but disney+ is streaming, yes. We sometimes have less options on streaming up here because of restrictions. But we are able to get some things, like Netflix And Disney+. :)
Green eggs and ham...
Cat in the Hat
even as a child, green eggs?, yucker-poo
lol, yeah, I used to think that was yucky, too.

You know, I have wished there were several of me before

Somebody said the other day that they had heard we started having income tax temporarily, just until the war was over, and then we had it ever since. I'm not sure if it's true or not.
It's been televised here our taxes are going up significantly I think it said first time in 3 decades to this amount.
Substantially...
Well, I imagine that's unwelcome news, especially in times like these.
is there a place where you pay no taxes?
Monaco has no income tax, according to Google. :)
Monaco
When we leaving?
I'm not even packing.........
you know, those are the best places to shop.
I made myself look silly once when I went to "Everything a Dollar" store
Went to checkout and asked, how much is this?
quantities
lol! I'm sure you're not the first one to ask that, though. :)
I'm usually a "I'm shopping for this specific thing I came to buy, and I very rarely even stop and look at anything else." kind of shopper, but for some reason when I'm in the dollar stores I'm happily looking at everything, going from aisle to aisle. There's a surprising amount of good stuff there.
Amounts...
buying in bulk
Was looking for my sunglasses once while driving, then it was pointed out I had them on......
Oh I got stories then, some might think I shouldn't be out of the house.:)
Stock up...
Well, it's the sunglasses fault, they shouldn't have been hiding out on your eyes like that!:laugh::laugh:
My sunglasses spend much more time lost than they do on my eyes. Sometimes I've been looking for them, and they're on top of my head, which is embarrassing, to say the least. :red:
Hoarding
Now, I take a shopping list to keep me from buying something twice. Might not sound to bad but when you get home.....Now how did I do that?
Hoarding reminds me of Y2K. Everybody stocked up on canned stuff. Weirdly enough, I don't remember hearing anything about anyone hoarding toilet paper, like they did last year.
The grocery list works well if I remember to take it to the store with me...instead of leaving it home on the shelf.
Shopping is a lonely experience lately. We're still on the one person per household thing, due to covid.
Y2K failed impressions
I still have no idea why it was so important to hoard toilet paper.....
We did see a woman at the grocery once with a cart full. The look on her face was one of, don't touch my stuff.
Nonevent...
I didn't get it either. I read an article online, titled something along the lines of "The Psychology of Why People are Buying Toilet Paper during The Pandemic." last year. I'm not so sure it made it clearer to me.
More to come
Recent ransomware attacks will create other shortages, one thing to mention and is good advise
BACK UPS
If you have a recent back up of data, don't pay the ransom.
I remember making a backup using CDs many moons ago.
I've never been a victim of ransomware so far, but I've often thought how rage inducing it must be to have to pay the ransom. I think the feeling of violation would be almost as bad as having your personal things held ransom.
I think, companies and businesses should do some type of daily backups.
If they were to boot up the computers one morning and see a ransomware note, hey no problem, made a backup last night before this problem hit.
Taking the time to backup could save some millions of dollars.
I call that being Frugal
I agree. Better safe than sorry.
I keep seeing The Complete Tightwad Gazette being mentioned when people are talking about being frugal. The general consensus seems to be that some advice in it is dated, but it's still an overall good book. It's one of those books I keep intending to look at sometime, but never get around to, haha!
We need one for
Stop the procrastination
I always procrastinate learning how not to procrastinate. :D:
Distraction...
fantastic visuals
imagine walking into a bakery with all fresh samples of cup cakes!
skywalk - like walking on glass
I ain't doing that, my karma and luck isn't that great.
I'll do a Riverboat Cruise
lol!
The closest thing to a Riverboat Cruise around here is the ferry.
Here where I live we have the General Jackson Show boat that travels down the Cumberland river, I advise everyone to take the night cruise so you cant see how littered the banks are.
It's a Paddle Wheel
You know, I think I was on a Paddle Wheel Boat a looong time ago, but I can't think where or when. It may have been way back when I was at Disney World, perhaps, or maybe even on the way there. Or a false memory, as so often happens with childhood memories.
Mississippi...
Wonder if folks can get up and down the Ohio River
I know that back in the day of pioneers it was a very used river.
That's a big ole river. :)
Watershed...
drainage basin....
I had to look that up. I maaaay have been sleeping through that class all those years ago in school. What would it be, geography?
Your close
Each rain, or heavy rain will collect and have a run off to a larger containment, river or stream.
Small streams it's been said will reach the most common river in the area which some finally connect to an ocean, not us here I don't think but many do connect to the Mississippi which over the years has been given the name
The Mighty Mississippi
Water Geology
Oh, cool. Last night I just learned cows see in panoramic vision, and now I learned this. Very interesting. :)
Study...
goodness, if we could see in night vision can you imagine what all would be out there?
Glowing...
We'd probably be surprised at how many critters were around in the dark if we suddenly gained night vision, that we didn't know were around before.
I saw a cat's eyes suddenly glow in the daytime the other day, I don't know why but it looked really cool. It only lasted a second, and then they returned to normal. :)
spooky
Don't think I could sleep if I could see whats going on.
Eerie...
I bet I wouldn't be able to sleep either.
 Eerie, Indiana is a show I watched as a kid
I never saw that show before. From the description on wiki, it looked like a good one. :)
Sci-fi...
imagined possibilities

Ah, you must have wondered why I was strangely quiet for a change. (Just kidding)

No, there certainly wasn't.
tiny...
Guinness World Records...
Don't think I would want to be listed as the oldest person alive, can you imagine the arthritis?
Generations
Ouch! Yes, that would be awful.
Silent Generation...
My grandmother is one of the silents. It's kind of funny, since she's one of the most talkative people I know, though perhaps she was "seen and not heard" as a child, then made up for lost talking time as an adult.
oh my word
I can be a Chatty Patty
As a child in school I was always in trouble for talking. I wasn't ugly or malicious we even talked about Church but
Teachers didn't like it.
Instructors...
I never got in trouble for talking too much very often, I mainly got in trouble for passing notes. :)
I probably did that to but talking was my problem.
substitutes
Crying...
We had a few substitute teachers who dissolved into tears in junior high. The boys in our class were pretty brutal sometimes. I still remember one substitute teacher sobbing in front of the class, proclaiming loudly "You people are the most horrible people I've ever met!!!" I did feel really bad for her, I certainly wasn't a perfect student, but I wouldn't partake in anything that would hurt somebody that badly. Never saw her again, maybe she quit teaching.

I don't know why that popped in my head, except that there's a tea sitting in front of me.

Sorry to say there isn't one sitting in front of me.......
Yum! That would be good right about now. :)

Now that would definitely be fun. Then go in and buy anything in sight that was halfways decent. :yahoo:
WEM....short for West Edmonton Mall.
Podcast...
Isn't that the place with the Accidental Room? I listened to a podcast about it. Not the one in the link, but I think it was Nocturne.

I only listened once, but it was one of my favorite stories. :)
